Position Summary
This position is expected to head the daily financial operation functions at the subsidiary level. This include managing the AP, AR and credit management functions as well as provide inter-departmental support across the various business units within the organisation. This role is expected to have solid and strong management skill set to manage and response to daily operational issues.
Main Responsibilities
- To provide support and control roles for the daily financial operation functions;
- To monitor compliance to financial process flows by all parties;
- Coordinate with senior and middle management positions in highlighting operational issues;
- Develop SOPs, manuals and guidelines to smoothen operations;
- To provide estimates for short and medium term fund requirement;
- Support the Group roles in reporting, filing and documentation in compliance with company's regulations, professional standards, and IFRS reporting guidelines;
- Periodically review financial process flows to ensure continuous efficiency and improvements;
Requirements
An ideal candidate should:-
- Possess at least a Bachelor’ Degree or Professional Degree in Business /Accounting / Finance / Banking or other related professional qualification;
- Minimum 5 years’ post-qualification of working experience in similar in-house position with proven track record;
- Strong management and communication skills;
- Familiar with Microsoft Office applications;
